Match Commentary for 15/03/10 (Posted 23/03/10)

There was only one match in World Div this was St. Augustine's C not surprisingly beat Leamington B 8 - 4 & so extended their lead at the top of the table to 3 points over Leamington A & Rileys West 12 A.

In Old EPA Div 1 Parish B went down at Hammersmith Club B 7 - 5 so the White Horse have a 7 point lead at the top with only 3 games left so they only have to turn up at these games to win the league, in the other game Windmill Warriors overcame St. Augustine's Caballeros 7 - 5.

In Old EPA Div 2 St. Augustine's Saints achieved remarkable 7 - 5 win at Wilton Arms so inflicted their 1st league defeat of the season, the other game saw The Clarence beat Duke of Cornwall 8 - 4. Although Wilton Arms have won this Div it is tight for 2nd place between Earl of Derby, Springbok B & St. Augustine's Saints who all have the same number of points.

Match Commentary EPA Week 19 / World Week 21 (Posted 12/03/10)

Two teams hit the headlines this week for the wrong reasons, both Rileys West 12 B & O'Donoghue's B were expelled from the league for three 'no shows' in the season. The current tables reflect the fact that their respective results from the 2nd half of the season are expunged.

In the only game played in World Div Rileys West Sands beat Leamington B & it does not affect the table.

In Old EPA Div 1 it was a week of nail biting draws, Laurie Arms & Norman Arms, O'Donoghue's A & Tournament & Parish A & B all finished 6 - 6 in the other matches the winners were Connolly's, White Horse & Orchard Tavern.

In Old EPA Div 2 Wilton Arms clinched the league with a resounding 11 - 1 defeat of West London Deaf which leaves them 9 points clear with only 3 games left, the other winner was Stag but both the matches between Springbok A & B & between St. Augustine's Saints & Earl of Derby finished 6 - 6.

Match Commentary EPA Week 17 / World Week 19 (Posted 02/03/10)

In World Div there were a series of surprise results, most notably Rileys West 12 A losing at home to Leamington B & also a hard fought draw between St. Augustine's B & Rileys Sands. Unfortunatly Rileys B did not show up at Leamington A so the home team were awarded a 7 - 0 win. As a result of these matches Leamington A are now second (still 3 points behind St. Augustine's C).

In Old EPA Div 1 the winners were Windmill Warriors, Parish B & laurie Arms while the matches between Hammermith Club B & St. Augustine's Caballeros, Parish A & Norman Arms & Tournament & White Horse all finished as draws. In Old EPA Div 2 the winners were Earl of Derby, Live & Let Live, Wilton Arms, Springbok B & The Clarence, the match between St. Augustine's Saints & Hammersmith Club A ended in a nail biting draw. The only changes in position were St. Augustine's Saints & Springbok A swopped places & The Clarence went up 2 places to ninth. Wilton Arms have a 6 point lead over Earl of Derby with just 6 games left.

Match Commentary EPA Week 16 / World Week 18 (Posted 21/02/10)

In World Div St. Augustine's C now have a 3 point gap at the top of the table thanks to an away win at Rileys West 12 B while Rileys A & Rileys Sands could only draw with each other.

In Old EPA Div 1 White Horse have a 5 point lead at the top of the table with another win, the other winners were Norman Arms, O'Donoghue's A & Parish A while the games between Laurie Arms & Connolly's & Parish B & Tournament were both drawn. The only change in the table is Connolly's have gone above Hammersmith Club B.In Old EPA Div 1 White Horse have a 5 point lead at the top of the table with another win, the other winners were Norman Arms, O'Donoghue's A & Parish A while the games between Laurie Arms & Connolly's & Parish B & Tournament were both drawn. The only change in the table is Connolly's have gone above Hammersmith Club B.

In Old EPA Div 2 Wilton Arms have a 6 point lead over the chasing pack. Winners were Live & Let Live, Hammersmith Club A, Springbok A & B & The Clarence. In the table Springbok A have gone above St. Augustine's Saints, Live & Let Live have gone above Stag & Hammersmith Club A are level with Stag.

Match Commentary EPA Week 15 / World Week 17 (Posted 21/02/10)

In World Div there were only 2 games played & they resulted in a home win for Rileys West 12 A over St. Augustine's B & a shock away win for Rileys West 12 Sands over Leamington A. The only change in the table is Rileys West 12 A go above Leamington A into 2nd place.

In Old EPA Div 1 winners were Windmill Warriors, Norman Arms, Orchard Tavern, Tournament & White Horse, while the match between Parish A & Laurie Arms ended as a draw. The results mean Windmill Warriors gained a couple of places & Orchard Tavern are no longer bottom of the league.

In Old EPA Div 2 winners were Earl of Derby, The Clarence, Springbok A & Wilton Arms, while the match between Duke of Cornwall & Hammersmith Club A ended in a draw. The only change in the league is Earl of Derby go above Sprigbok B into 2nd place.

Match Commentary EPA Week 14 / World Week 16 (Posted 11/02/10)

In World Div St. Augustine's C continue to make the pace with another win while Leamington A had a narrow win over St. Augustine's B but pride of place this week must go Rileys West 12 B who recorded their first point of the season with a draw away.

In Old EPA Div 1 it is White Horse who are leading while Parish B dropped a point at home to Orchard Tavern the other winners in this div were Tournament, Parish A, Hammersmith Club B & O'Donoghue's A.

In Old EPA Div 2 Wilton Arms continue run away with a lead of 6 points over the next 2 teams, Springbok B & Earl of Derby, who both won again this week. There were also wins for St. Augustine's Saints, O'Donoghue's B & The Clarence.

Rules. What if??? (Posted 29/06/08)

There is a new section added to the website called "Rules. What if??" This section is for questions and different scenarios that may arise during matches where members are unsure of the rules, how they continued and what should have been the outcome. This will be a past situations section but it is purely for information should such a scenario arise in the future. Members can post their question/scenario on the "Rules. What if??" forum on the main forum, await the correct procedure and then both the question/scenario and correct outcome will be posted in the "Rules. What if??" section on the home page of the main website. Please be patient as not every question/scenario can be answered straight away. An example is for viewing in the "Rules. What if??" forum.
